New and exciting features from Deep-Image.AI
We’re always on the search for better and more advanced features with high-level use of developed machine learning technologies.
This month we’re going to release several new features and as always — we’re looking forward to your feedback!
- New kind of image transformation — enhance without upscale.
There would be a few new ways in which you can transform your images. Starting from slightly moved images needing sharpening and additional improvements. You can find an example of before/after images below.
What’s often quite problematic is when the images we would like to use online have a high degree of pixelation. That’s why we decided on releasing a new feature which smoothens the pixelation effect resulting in higher quality images. On top of that we enabled erasing the JPEG artefact compression with color branding
2. Better quality of all the upscaling models.
What’s more — you may expect better results in terms of the upscaling. First of all, there’s noticeably less artefacts which means the overall effect is much better. We also use techniques different than bicubic to smoother uneven edges that appear while you minimise the picture.

Last, but not least we improved the quality of small images scaling (such as icons) and worked on the faster processing of the images thanks to the server scaling.
