What happens to my unused remove.bg credits?
Unused pay-as-you-go credits expire on 1 December 2026 and are not refunded, so use them up before then. Deep-Image subscription credits renew every billing period, and pay-as-you-go credits do not expire.
How much does background removal cost on Deep-Image?
One image costs one credit. A credit costs from $0.03 on the 30,000-credit monthly subscription, from $0.07 on smaller subscriptions and from $0.17 as a one-off pay-as-you-go pack.
Do I pay extra for full resolution?
No. There are no low-resolution previews: every result on a paid plan is delivered at full resolution, up to 303 megapixels, for the same single credit.
Can I remove the background and upscale in one request?
Yes. Add a target width or height to a background removal request and the cutout is upscaled in the same pass, still for 1 credit. There is no 1000 px input limit for upscaling.
How much work is moving my remove.bg API integration?
Usually a small change. Most remove.bg parameters have a direct Deep-Image equivalent. The main change is the response: Deep-Image returns JSON with a result_url to download instead of the image bytes. Our migration guide maps the supported parameters and shows before and after code in curl, Python and Node.js.
Do you support batch processing, webhooks and cloud storage?
Yes. The API has an asynchronous endpoint with completion webhooks, batch processing, direct reads and writes to Amazon S3, Google Drive, Dropbox and OneDrive, and ready-made Zapier and Make integrations.
